Hi my name is Rose Leeson and this summer I will be going to the Peruvian Amazon on an expedition to help preserve the biodiversity of the Amazon rainforest.
My expedition will be based in the National Park named the Pacaya-Samiria Reserve which is situated at the beginning of the Amazon River. The National park is home to an infinite amount of species that are increasingly becoming endangered due to deforestation and pollution. My Expedition focuses on monitoring the levels of certain species- keeping a close eye on how they are surviving in our changing environment.
